As a non-governmental organization dedicated to preserving the ancient art of falconry, the IAF has earned its place as an accredited member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Representing 120 falconry associations in 89 countries worldwide, the IAF plays a vital role in the history, methodology, and community of falconry, contributing to its preservation on a daily basis. At the forefront of protecting and promoting the significance of falconry, the IAF has been instrumental in achieving its UNESCO recognition as a Living Human World Heritage.
